Opt-In Workflow

TaskRocket (operating the Aitha AI phone assistant service) sends SMS messages only to users who have explicitly opted in through one of the following methods:

  • Completing the TaskRocket Free Workflow Review form on taskrocket.org and checking the optional SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default).
  • Calling an Aitha-powered business phone number and receiving an initial opt-in SMS requesting their consent before any further messages are sent.

Initial Opt-In SMS Message

When a caller's call is not answered by an Aitha-powered business, the first SMS message sent to the caller is an opt-in request. The message reads:

"Hi, this is [Business Name]'s AI assistant. We noticed your call and would love to help! Before we send you any updates via SMS, do you agree to receive text messages from [Business Name]? Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply YES to agree or STOP to decline. Reply HELP for support."

No further SMS messages are sent unless the caller replies YES. Callers who reply STOP or do not reply receive no further messages.

Message Purpose

After opt-in, messages may relate to the caller's inquiry, appointment scheduling, business hours, service information, and follow-up communication on behalf of the Aitha client business.

Opt-Out and Help

Users can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all messages. Users can reply HELP for support contact information. Opt-out requests are honored immediately.

Twilio Verification Description

TaskRocket's Aitha service operates dedicated business phone numbers on behalf of small business clients. When a call goes unanswered, the system sends a single opt-in SMS to the caller asking for explicit consent before any follow-up messages are sent. The opt-in message clearly identifies the business, explains message frequency, discloses potential message and data rates, and provides STOP and HELP instructions. Only callers who reply YES receive subsequent SMS messages. The business phone number (252) 668-6539 is listed on this page and on taskrocket.org. Consent is not required to receive services.
